Lady of Sorrows

Below, you will find my depiction of Mary, Mother of God. Inspired by the compelling statues and profound story surrounding her, I embarked on creating this piece.

To begin, I gathered references and sculpted her using ZBrush. Her clothing was created in Marvelous Designer, and I UV'd her in Maya for optimal texture mapping. Employing realistic skin textures, I ensured her readiness for gaming by projecting the high-poly details onto a low-poly mesh. Finally, I rendered her in Marmoset Toolbag, utilizing a thoughtfully designed three-point lighting setup.
